Tree House

My parents had a magnificent tree house constructed in our backyard, providing Bob and me with an exciting sanctuary to explore and play. We eagerly anticipated spending a night under the twinkling stars, reveling in the magic of our tree-bound retreat. However, our excitement was dampened by the recent arrest of a child molester in our city, casting a shadow of fear over our adventure.
Despite our initial enthusiasm, the weight of unease lingered in the air, and we found ourselves retreating to the safety of our beds after only a brief 20 minutes in the tree house.

Bob and I messing around before we went out. Who's afraid of sleeping outside in the dark, heck we do this stuff!

Me after deserting the tree!

Sadly, our cherished retreat was not to last, as the tree contracted a devastating disease, forcing its inevitable removal. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved tree house, its demise symbolizing the end of an era filled with childhood wonder and imagination.

We looked pretty happy for losing our tree house!
