After taking a once in a lifetime ocean to ocean cross country driving trip in our 2008 Porsche Turbo, we came home and traded the Porsche in for this fine machine.

I needed to buy a reliable vehicle to carry my bikes and kayaks to the trail and lakes. After driving all similar vehicles, I decided on a used FJ.

Kara's Lexus was almost 10 years old and we needed to get her a new one, so we found this 2018 coming out of a 3 year lease with only xxxx miles on it. We bought it for xxxxx when they were going brand new for xxxxx, if you could even find one because of Covid!

"The Guzman" is officially mine. A new car is not your own until you have washed it yourself! I sold my 2007 FJ Cruiser, which had 89,000 miles on it, but now I have learned that that is just over break in for an FJ. I bought this 2013 model with 36,000 miles. They stopped making them in 2014, so this would be classified as a late model. It has so many features that my 2007 did not have, like the off-road package, upgraded stereo, backup camera, and must have Bluetooth. She is ready for some ADVENTURES!
