Mandatory spending vs the constitution

Nov 18th, 2023

Since none of my liberal friends got back to me with where in the Constitution it mentions mandatory spending, I assume that it isn't there.

In 2012 mandatory spending will consume However, the constitution does mention the military, along with a standing navy, yet military spending took up just 18.8% of the budget in 2012, and is forecast to drop by 17% by 2017 to just 12.9% of the budget.Soc Sec, Medicare and medicaid will grow by 41% by 2017............, yet they were never mentioned by our founding fathers! That, my friends is an insidious take over of our government by folks with socialism on their minds. These six programs consume 60% of the budget, and left unchecked will bankrupt our country.Soc Sec,                 Welfare,     Unemployment    All three signed Into law on August 14, 1935 by President Roosevelt, a democrat               Medicaid,               Medicare              Both signed into law on July 30, 1965, by President Johnson, a democrat Obamacare          Signed into law on March 23, 2010 by President Obama, a democratHELLO!The history of welfare in the U.S. started long before the government welfare programs we know were created. In the early days of the United States, the colonies imported the British Poor Laws. These laws made a distinction between those who were unable to work due to their age or physical health and those who were able-bodied but unemployed. The former group was assisted with cash or alternative forms of help from the government. http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/federal_budget_detail_fy13bs12012n_30#usgs302
