We planned a very full day in the Mojave National Preserve starting with,
* Mary Beal Nature hike.* Mitchell Caverns.* The Hole In The Wall ring's hike.* The Lava Tubes.
We made it to all of them, but just made it to the Lava Tubes before dark.

Mitchell Caverns in the Mojave National Preserve. It has been closed for 7 years and just opened. Only 28 people a day are allowed in, and only three days a week.
