#3. CAESARS HEAD STATE PARK

This is a special park indeed. The overlook is spectacular and not to be missed. I hiked the rather short but very groomed Frank Coggins Trail. Compared to the rocky trail up to Jones Gap Falls, this was paradise. The way that they market the trail was the best I have ever seen, not only a painted purple square on the tree, but a tree tag with the trail name. But unfortunately, they were not present on the loop, and that is where you need them. I hope that one day they implement this type of markings on every trail in America. If someone watches the video below and can please tell me if it was poison sumac that I was hiking through, I would appreciate it!
