Another amazing adventure, a bit off center from our norms, but quite an amazing adventure indeed.
There were 6 of us cleaning the south side of the 118 from Tampa almost down to Reseda.
It is spic and span, FOR NOW.
Initially having cars going by at up to 80 mph was disconcerting, but after 15 minutes you hardly noticed them other than the noise.
We picked up 28 bags of trash.
3.5 hours later everyone was tired but had fun.
Jill Mathers has adopted the 118 freeway from Tampa to Balboa on both sides and this was the first freeway event. Someone needs to do this for the 101, and maybe a Meetup to clean Valley Circle, maybe me!
