U.S. debt grew from $29.4 trillion in 2021 to $33.2 trillion in 2023. What did we get for this extra $4 trillion that the U.S. spent over and above their budget. I challenge ANYONE to make a list of the wonderful things that the American people received from all of this spending. As an example, if we wanted to get rid of homelessness, I am sure this money could make it so!
And now U.S. debt is expanding at $3 trillion a year while GDP is only growing by $2.2 trillion a year.
When will this become unsustainable?
