All of our boxes are finally unpacked!
I can not recommend this moving thing, period full stop, especially at almost 70.
But now that we are getting settled, all of the agitation is over, like, will we sell our house, will we find a nice new house, will our furniture and cars arrive on schedule and undamaged. Turn off all utilities at our old house, and turn them all on at the new one. Get to DMV to get re licensed.
It is ALL so much work, but we love our new home, love the free state of SC, and love the people, but for greatly missing our friends!
The local trash company will do one free pick up for newbies, but I wonder if they know what they are in for?
