Kayaking

Discovering kayaking later in life has made me wish I had embraced this exhilarating activity much sooner. The sheer freedom of navigating a kayak down a river or across a lake is nothing short of magical.

Big Bear Lake

Oct 8th, 2018

I wanted to add Big Bear Lake to my list of lakes kayaked! The water level was very low, but we had fun just the same. We were rear ended in the Tesla on the way home.

Channel Islands

For years I wanted to Kayak the caves on the Channel Islands. Chris and Dru were game to go, so we meet in Ventura early one morning and off we went to cross the channel, get instruction, and hit the waves! This was an EPIC adventure!

North Lake Castaic

We kayaked the second half of Lake Castaic today, just 11 miles of leisure paddling.

Pyramid Lake

Jun 14th, 2018

I always drove by Pyramid Lake on the way north to Napa and wanted to get on the water. After I bought my two inflatable Kayaks, it was time to collect lakes and harbors, and this was one I just had to do, so Omid and I made a date and kayaked the entire lake!

Oxnard Harbor

May 24th, 2014

My 5th attempt to go around the Oxnard break water into the open ocean. The water was very calm at the house, I was hoping for the best calm weather at the break water and found it. So beautiful out there today!
