Mountain Biking

Chesebro to the tree

From box to an amazing 10 mile mountain bike trail ride in one morning!

This is one special machine!

* The gearing is amazing, it climbs like a billy goat, better then my old Giant full suspension mountain bike.

* It took on some very technical single tracks with ease, just place your weight over the back tire and let the front tire do it's job.

* The tires were very good even in sand.

* I did lose back tire traction going up hill once due to misplacing my weight, but that has happened on my old mountain bike also.

* The front suspension did a great job.

* The weight of the bike, being over 30 pounds, was no problem at all, it climbed with ease and took the rocks with grace!

* Lowering the handle bars to their lowest level made it maneuver like any other mountain bike, and I am 5.11.

A few thoughts,

* If you are coasting in a full upright position, you DO NOT want to come upon an unexpected rock or a root, it will jar you back to reality!

* On a wash board trail, or say a 5 mile fire road down hill the front shocks do not absorb the small stuff and your hands and arms are pretty beaten up, I don't know why that happens, but maybe installing a shock stop suspension stem would suck up this small annoyance.

* The broad hand pads make it great for up hill, but your hands get tired on a long downhill requiring you to have the confidence to use the brakes with just one finger, since you need all of the rest of your fingers just to keep you secure on the bike.

I LOVE THIS BIKE.

The company should have a name mountain bike rider put it through its paces and give it a review because I think it will do VERY WELL!
